On November 6th and 7th one of the largest gatherings ever held about the future of leadership in our world will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. Hundreds of speakers will share their thoughts about how we can lead more effectively in every aspect of society. There will be a concert by Jason Mraz and I will be the closing keynote speaker.

Kenneth Schwenker, the organizer of this event – he calls it LEADERShift – describes the†mission of the conference†this way:

“Weíre assembling leaders and visionaries, creating exhilarating panels from technology to social entrepreneurship to spirituality, arranging and hosting seminars and workshops with some of the great teachers of our time and celebrating this experience together with a† Saturday evening conscious music festival.”

The aim of this conference is to share some of the†most visionary thinking of our time, to inspire the leader within each of us and to be a call to action for all of us to be leaders in our lives. The conference aspires to†produce at least 10 specific projects and actions that will make a difference in some of the issues that†we are all dealing with in this world. Another†part of the conference will be dedicated to inspiring young people to make a difference in their communities and to be leaders in their own way.

Please join me on November 6 and 7, 2010, and help to change the world – it will change your life!
